Prolog Section

I created a new section for 'Prolog' releases, adding within it an implementation of BAMIC, the first multi-instance numeric partitive clustering algorithm (BAMIC: BAg-level Multi-Instance Clustering). The .rar downloadable file provide also a documentation file .pdf (written in LaTex). Everything has been done by me and S.Pischettola.

C++ Section

Ship War

I've just published the "Ship War" project in the 'Releases' -> 'Java Releases' section, developed by me, consisting in a Java implementation of the "Ship War" game, which is Web-oriented (based on a client/server architecture).
Users will be allowed to login after their registration, and they will have the chance to save their own games and enter the high-scores.
You can play only against your CPU, choosing one of three difficulty levels.

I've just upload a new downloadable package of the CaDia expert system, allowing to execute it without needing to compile any java class.
Now to execute the expert system you have simply to double click on 'CaDia.bat' file contained in the new and lighter (only 434KB) package available following the 'releases' -> 'clips' path.
Moreover I've replace the 'Remove on Reboot' program that was available in the 'download' section, with a better one: Unlocker.
Unlocker let you delete also locked folders and not only locked files (instead of Remove on Reboot) and plus, visualize a list with all the locker programs for that file or foder.
Unlocker in its latest version (v.1.8.5) is downloadable from the 'download' section.

Calculator Show

In the 'Blog' section I've inserted a link to some photos I've pubblicated on my Flickr account (a wonderful initiative to store and share your photos, comments, captions and so on). I've made these photos during a very very amazing showroom about calculators, in which were shown some very very old calculators (an analogic one too!) organized in Bari for the 'Resarchers Night' event (celebrated also in other 30 european cities).
I don't know when my Blog will achieve an accetable layout :) but this is a forward step isn't it? :P
CaDia - Expert System

I've uploaded an Expert System released by me and my friend P.Minervini, during the last July month.
It's based on a production rule system, implemented in clips has a Java graphic interface released using JClips (to make clips and java communicate each other). It makes questions to the user (who should be a cardiologist), following as much as possible the logic reasoning of a doctor.
To manage uncertain data, we have used 'certain factors' with a set of statistical data as guide lines (for example: a symptom indicates a diseas with a certainty of 50%) that we've got from several sources.
The results of precious diagnosis could be saved related to the patient to which they refers, and could be considerated during the next diagnosis for the same patient, because a diseas could predispose for another one. Because the results of previous diagnosis could be uncertain results too, their certainty factor is considerated within the calculation of previous diseas potentially predisposing.
All these features are described in more detail in a documentation that is, unfortunately, still written only in italian: I'll fix this problem as soon as possible.
To download this expert system you should follow the path 'releases' -> 'clips'.

I've terminated the construction of the web site which I was working to during this month: http://www.antonioceci.com.
It's the web site of a great heavy-metal guitar player who is promoting himself (his videos on YouTube are successful) and his band (the "Evolution").
It's been realized and translated for the english version entirely by me using only "Block Notes" and "Adobe Photoshop Elements".
It also provides the users with exercises and technical suggestions useful to improve their guitar playing techniques and studying methods. If they're useful you will see by yourself, examining the Antonio's skill.
So this web site could be very handy for who wants to learn electric guitar playing or simply improve himself.

Within the August month, it will be finished the project "Ship War", consisting in the Java implementation of the "Ship War " videogame, that will be Web-oriented (based on a client/server architecture).
It will be realised by me.
It will be allowed the users login after their registration, and there will be the ability to save their own games and enter the high-scores.
Also there will be the possibility to choose the challenger as a human being or as the CPU.

Today I've created the Home Page of this web site.
All the content is ready to be uploaded, but due to a bad...very bad and slow Internet connection, I think ther wolud be more time to upload everything.
So now you will find lots of pages under construction.
